A beautiful bespoke fountain pen turned from Box Elder Burl with Hobble Creek’s ‘Space Dust Cowboy’ and McKenzie Penworks ‘Black Cherry’ resins used for the decorative ring, grip section and finial. Every pen I make for the Premier Series is a unique one-of-a-kind handmade work of art! This combination of wood and accent colors will NEVER be repeated.
The wood from which this beauty was turned was dried in-house and infused with resin under vacuum pressure before being shaped by hand. This fountain pen comes standard with a Jowo #6 stainless steel nib, a Schmidt K5 converter, and accepts standard international fountain pen ink cartridges.
This particular pen is 150mm capped (140mm uncapped), has a thickness of of 10.65mm at the thinnest part of the section, 14.5mm at the widest part of the body and 17.25mm at the cap, and weighs 27.24 grams un-inked (14.78 grams without the cap).
Note: I currently stock custom etched stainless-steel Jowo #6 nibs in extra fine, fine, medium and broad. Other styles of nib (including 14k and 18k gold) can be acquired if needed. Contact me for more information!
